Thatcollegekid.com is a site authored by Sydney, a
university sophomore with a love for computers. Her
pages are easy to navigate and are surprisingly
insightful. This helpful blog is geared almost
exclusively toward college students. She provides
information on scholarships, much on technology and
useful on-line resources as well as study and
educational tools. Sydney also posts the occasional
random topic, such as a yummy recipe, but her primary
focus goes to money saving ideas for college students
and providing beneficial ways to be prepared for
classes and studying.

This Chick Is Awesome!

Sydney’s blog, That College Kid, is a refreshing
surprise. Her articles are practical, ingenious and
informative, showing remarkable maturity for such a
young woman. Her site is an absolute plethora of
useful information about finding scholarships,
financial aid, study features, internships, and
affordable and easy recipes. Sydney is thrifty as
well, offering all kinds of great tips for saving money
on books, printing, television and all manner of living
expenses. Where was this kid when I was in college?
Oh yeah. Grammar school.

excellent advice!

I love this kid's blog. As a college student myself I
really find his blogs useful and have bookmarked this
blog for my own personal use. I love the scholarship
heads up info as well as how to get emails via text for
free. So cool.

What I found interesting is he is also promoting
online courses. I had the impression he was all about
a college campus and hard textbooks. Perhaps
diversifying himself as a writer will gain a larger
audience.
