pictures alone will make you hungry..

Ree Drummond writes for Confessions of a Pioneer Woman.
Save all of the Donner Party jokes that just flashed
through your mind. Ree Drummond, the eponymous Pioneer
Woman, delivers some seriously intense recipes, with
plenty of drool inducing photos to match. The site is a
must for all amateur cooks. assuming you can get around
the author's frequent use of the phrase "dried calf
nuts."

Just another Julie and Julia Individual!

November 11, 2009

Ever watched the new movie on the great American woman
publishing a complete, French cooking 'bible'? This
woman is just another, much better one, who deserves to
be called as the real pioneer of woman success! Cooking
combined with happy family plus fancy photography, make
'Confessions of a Pioneer Woman' worth daily reading!
Even for men.

Discovering the secrets behind a pioneer woman

October 12, 2009

Ree Drummond's blog is incredibly attractive and she
delights me in each of her sections. I love Charlie's
adventures; the photographs and anecdotes of her cute
Basset Hound are really cute and funny.

Then, I'm sure you'd love to read her "Love Story"
and how falling in love with a cowboy made her change
the hustle and bustle of the city for the life on a
rach "in the middle of nowhere".

But if you are not into reading about somebody else's
life, take a few minutes to enjoy the recipes this
"accidental country girl" has to offer.

The Pioneer Woman

July 01, 2009

I love her story. She went from big city gal to country
wife and really enjoys her life. She's very witty and
charming. She writes about a variety of different
topics - life on the ranch, her children &
homeschooling, cooking. Her recipes are delicious and
her site has a nice pleasant layout.

My daughter and I love Pioneer Woman

June 02, 2009

I think it was my daughter that discovered the
Confessions of a Pioneer Woman blog.

For a while she was there all the time, often reading
me the stories of life on the ranch with the Marlboro
Man. Really funny stories they are too!

We've also made some of the recipes, we especially
love the Heaven of a Fork beef tenderloin one and the
snotty sister pasta.

So it's all good fun, very entertaining - can be a
bit fattening as well (wow - that's a lot of butter!!)

Funny funny lady

May 28, 2009

Drummond has a really professional-looking site going
on. She has everything for the modern pioneer woman,
from cooking recipes to advice about family and love.
I'm especially fond of her delicious looking recipes.
I imagine the pioneers back in the day had dishes as
tasty as the ones on her site. She's very inventive in
her recipes and I highly doubt many of them are truly
pioneer inspired. In fact, I can see this type of food
on cooking channels nationwide, reaching all audiences.
Some of her dishes also look very healthy, which is a
plus. Not to mention her fine photography skills

But best of all? Her HILARIOUS wit! I think she is
so funny and really keeps the reader reading every
single little thing she writes. I really like her.
