Baseball Guru and Genious

February 14, 2010

If it is going on in the world of baseball people want
to hear it from Gammon first! He has become a
recognized authority on the game and because of this
has the ability to break a lot of new stories that
other reporters wouldn't get. Great writer that always
keeps you engaged. Must Read!

You Want to Know Baseball Gammons is your guy

October 01, 2009

Peter Gammons is the mecca of baseball
reporter/writers/journalists. His knowledge base is
listless and unmatched and his style flows like that of
a Hemmingway novel. His Boston roots make it hard for
him to be completely objective when talking about the
Yankees but He is as GOOD as they come.

ESPN's best baseball writer

May 09, 2009

Gammons, as the reviewer above said, has been
exceptional for a long time, both in his capacities as
a writer for the Globe and as an ESPN analyst. Simply
put, the man was put on earth to talk abut baseball,
and anybody who ever watches him or reads him comes
away feeling like they learned something from someone
who is genuinely an expert. The topics he covers are
always relevant, always varied, and always thoroughly
researched and given a complete opinion on. It will be
a sad day when he leaves us.

Peter Gammons "The Go To Guy"

April 30, 2009

Peter Gammons is the exception to the ol' saying "you
don't know what you have until it's gone." Similar to
the Boston Bruins of the late 80's with Ray Bourque and
Cam Neely, it wasn't until the mid-90's through the
present, the Black and Gold fans realized how sweet it
actually was. Peter Gammons is the pinnacle of what
sports writers strive to achieve. He does an
incredible job covering all of the ins and outs of
baseball, and he provides such in depth detail, that he
educates the reader about the game of baseball as a
whole. The wide range of topics Gammons' covers
appeals to everyone on some level, and once introduced
to Gammons, it is nearly impossible to not become a fan
of Gammons or the game of baseball.

Granted, Yankee fans have a hard time giving credit
to Gammons, after all, he is another Boston guy.
