Adam Pieniazek is one of the most underrated bloggers out there. He is one of the most knowledgeable and insightful people I have met and is always willing to help. Most of the time he points me to articles he's previously written, which demonstrates his knowledge and expertise on blogging, SEO, and site design. I give Adam 578 thumbs up.

The Man, The Myth, The Legend

Adam is extremely good at what he does, possibly the best I've ever met. Not only does Adam write for three of his own blogs, but he also produces many other blogs including my own. How this man accomplishes this much each day is beyond me. He's not #1 for no reason.

I met Adam while kicking off my Two Cents From Beantown sports blog and we've been going back and forth ever since. He's a very passionate writer and his knowledge of blogging industry is off the charts. I'm happy to have become friendly with him and hopefully we'll be in the same circles for a long time... Even if he did go to Boston Latin and I went to Latin Academy! Go Dragons!

Boston vs New York - Not on the blogs.. :)

I first found Adam's website, “the 42nd Estate”, through the “Life of Justin” website. I can't tell you exactly why I ended up there, but I guess he made some semi-intelligent comment and that forced me to check out his site.

Soon after I noticed that he was very engaged with his "posse" (that's East Coast right?). I have had many conversations with him through comments on blogs, Freindfeed, Twitter and others. Adam always responds and I think that is the most important strength he has.

I have not had any experience with his consulting, but through my conversations with him and the content on his blogs, I feel he would be a great consultant.

Now for the important stuff!

We are both Celtics fans and that is a good start. I have lived on the Cape and been around Mass for quite a few years, BUT I am a Yankees FAN. Yeah, I said it. Luckily, we are both more interested in networking than bashing each other (in Boston I take off my hat, seriously. Getting stuck in the tunnel can be an experience if I leave it on! ). Aside from that “Sports Fan Four” is a great site with great authors, making Adam's network a great circle of content.

Eager to spread his enthusiasm

Mr. Pieniaznek is a man who is obviously happy living the life he lives. If you google for social network consutltants in Boston, Mass. his name appears on the top of the search. Rightly so. He is committed to his calling and this comes out in his blog. He is eager to share the things he discovers and he is eager to share his insights and positive experiences. He is a gracious and open. His enthusiasm is infectious.

He is proud to be located where he is, active in his neighborhood, and he promotes it. He is equally excited by the global reach the internet affords him and he is earnest in opening this window on the wider world to everyone who will listen. It is worth reading what he has to say. He has many friends. Righly so.

I admit, I don't understand most of what Mr. Pieniazek is talking about when he recommends applications and templates. I am like a caveman being shown fire for the first time about most of this stuff. Despite my ignorance, he makes it accessible and seem worth pursuing. Because of him, I have opened the envelope the internet has dropped in my mailbox and investigated things that I wouldn't have otherwise.

If you want to learn about how social media works, Adam's articles provide a worthwhile, ongoing tutorial. If you want to learn how to make the local universal, the same is true. He straddles two worlds: Dorchester, Mass. and the unboundaried nation of electronic illuminati. Cognescenti should read this blog to learn how decisions get made in the trenches.

Blogging, Boston, and More

I started reading Adam's site(s) a couple months ago after reading his post on how to save the Boston Globe. I found that I agreed completely with certain points and disagreed vehemently with others. What more can you ask for from a writer?

A wealth of knowledge on blog writing and a phenomenal networker too!
June 03, 2009
3 / 3 found this review helpful:
Adam is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to not only writing blogs (and going beyond "just another blog") but also understanding the psychology of writing copy, creating a message and reaching out to causes.

In addition to his online expertise Adam is an amazing business networker. His follow-up and follow-through to answering questions and making connections is always reliable.

If you have the chance to hire, work with or network with Adam I highly suggest you grab the opportunity!

Great content for all audiences

Adam's writing has always covered such a vast, yet focused, content field that not only covers local Boston but issues related in the news; he provides additional information and opinions on the who, what, where, and why. A must read for anybody looking to expand their knowledge on anything Boston, blog-related, social media, traditional media, etc.
