Description: John Clayton is one of ESPN's premier football writers. He contributes via blog, television, and news stories to ESPN's coverage both during the season and during the offseason, and frequently has interesting and relevant tidbits of news, insight, and wisdom to offer to us sports fans. Clayton is a bit of a stat geek, often showing us (for example) statistical improvements or decay after a quarterback joined a team. The most recent example of this is his column on Brett Favre where he showed that the New York Jets averaged 10 more points per game when Favre was playing. This makes his writing a little dry, but his points are often good ones.
Description: J. A. Adande is a writer for ESPN.com who contributes basketball articles to ESPN's site and also takes part in the Around the Horn show every weekday afternoon.
