Jewelry is beautiful. It’s especially beautiful when
you know get to know the artisan personally. Deryn
Mentock’s blog “Something Sublime” features
beautiful jewelry, tutorials for those interested in
making jewelry and links to where Mentock’s works can
be purchased. Besides offering picture after gorgeous
picture of her creations, she lists where she will be
teaching her classes (in case you want to try your hand
at creating something sublime yourself). Mentock also
talks about real life, like the robin that is nesting
in her backyard and her experience working on women’s
only build with Habitat for Humanity. There are enough
links to other blogs and art supply websites to keep
anyone happy for hours.
