Description: Garance Dore began writing her blog in June 2006. She is an illustrator and journalist and she thought that beginning to write a blog would give her more contact with her audience. She started publishing a few drawings and then began adding brief texts. She discovered that it was a pleasure to write little snapshots of her life. If she talks mostly about fashion, it is because it has been one of her passions ever since she was a kid; she was raised reading her mother’s glossies, trying on her incredible Mugler and Alaïa outfits, and living vicariously through her fantastic 80s. Recently she began adding streetstyle photos on her blog. She shoots them in the street or around the shows during the fashion weeks. It is a way for her to further express what she likes in fashion. Garance's blog has led to commissions with Vogue Paris, Elle, and other fashion magazines.
