Review of Kevin Pho (KevinMD)

July 05, 2010

I always see his name tweeted very often. :)

Many guest posts by other doctors. I especially
enjoy the MALPRACTICE category.

More clinical than Do-it-yourself-at-home health
tips.

The Doctor is IN!

January 22, 2010

As a person with a chronic medical condition, I'm
always looking for reliable sources on the Internet.
Unfortunately, they are few and far between and of
dubious reliability. Dr. Pho is an Internal Medicine
specialist who comes across like a real person -- not a
Medical Demigod from on high who makes pronouncements.
He dishes on his profession, publishes comments from
colleagues and provides an informative blog for folks
who are interested in the internal workings of the
practice of medicine.

King of the Medical Bloggers

January 08, 2010

Kevin Pho provides physician commentary on breaking
medical news to give the readers more insight on the
day-to-day realities of health care. Forbes.com hailed
KevinMD.com as a “must-read blog" and he is cited
regularly by major media.

He has said that his motivations of the blog was to
fill the void created by lack of the physicians’
voices and to inform the patients what goes on behind
the doors of physicians’ offices.

He looks for items relevant to him, such as new
reimbursement rules, malpractice cases or tort reform,
and drug developments. Then he posts a new entry
providing links to these stories for his many readers
to find, together with his perspective on those medical
news.
