Our Journey Through Life

#3 in Illness

Description:   I write for Our Journey Through Life in an attempt to help fight the stigma associated with mental illness. My husband was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2007 and I blog on how his diagnosis effects us as a family.

I liked how open and honest she was about what her
family was experiencing. It made me sad that she's let
her blog go stale in favor of a facebook community
though.

A refreshingly unpretentious and honest blog

October 11, 2012

I find it so refreshing to read someone's unedited
inner thoughts. This blog feels real, rather than
constructed to attract readers. I thank author Kristina
for being courageous enough to be who she is, feel what
she does and share it with the world.

Inspiring

Really inspiring. Gorgeous writing. Really detailed and
informative and gives a real insight into how it is to
live with mental illness and how the sun can still
shine through the darkness. The sun being Kristina. She
should be proud.

Great Information!

I love the way Kristina writes this blog. As the one in
my relationship with the chronic condition, I feel like
this is really great for my fiancé to read. Sending
him to read it asap! :)

Inspiring blog

July 13, 2010

As someone who tries to share his own condition with
the world through my blog, I admire folks who take the
time to try to improve other peoples' lot in life by
sharing their experience. Germanchick is dealing with
a sad situation, but her optimism, patience and love
shines through.

Touching Story

June 19, 2010

The writer is so great in describing every single
change in their life after the diagnosis. I think she
can write a real story novel in future because of her
great writing style.

A brave and talented writer

June 03, 2010

Kristina is one of those writers that I can go through
reading about 30 posts straight and still not get
bored.

Her posts are never too long and get to the heart of
her message.

Most of them are about her experiences with her
family. She writes in such a way that it seems she is
able to maintain their privacy, while still giving
readers a deep and clear understanding of what she, and
her family deals with, on a daily basis.

She is clearly a brave and interesting person. Give
her blog a read.
