Part of a team that provides a useful up to date
summary of political movements. Nothing indepth or
challenging, but keeps you up to speed.

Review of Sarah Gandrey

A charming diary of sorts, which really acts as a
reflective account of the authors battle with weight,
but almost as much with societal views towards the
issue of weight and means of tackling it. I'm not sure
if this will act as an inspiration to those pursuing
similar goals, but no doubt, given the style of
writing, many will feel they have found a friend with a
shared goal.
Above all though, this is quite entertaining (tighter
writing would be beneficial).
Finally, a note to the author, dont go giving
yourself 10 out of 10s, earn them, your writing is
good, but not that good yet, and nothing irks more than
self aggrandizing.

Although inclined to agree with previous reviews, that
this is indeed well written, one wonders about the
theme, or the general lack of one. This is a bouncing
and broad piece of work that never seems to be terribly
sure of what it wants to be. While the entires are
often insightful regarding their subject matter, the
subjects are far too broad ranging to offer a
consistency of thought. While a scattered approach
works for some, they do not for this reviewer, and
without a greater sense of structure and consistency of
posting, it is hard to view this as being anything more
than middling.
Review of Beppe Grillo
July 09, 2011
Strong words, strong themes, though often a little too
indulgent in the method of conveyence, Grillo offers a
voice out of Italy which is refreshing in its political
persuasion, even if the liberal leanings come through a
little heavy on occasion.
A timely reminder that not every political voice
coming out of the country is mired in right wing
corruption.

A mixed bag here. Had this been reviewed on the US
content we probably will have been looking at a much
higher mark, as the observations on the stateside
soccer are well thouoght out and in-depth in their
analysis. What drags this down dramatically are the
rather unwelcome interuptions of European soccer
discussion, which is dramatically limited in
comparison.
Whereas US observations feel like they come from
someone with an intimate knowledge, the European
contributions feel second hand and very light, to the
point of irrelevance.
Should this consider dropping the European elements,
or focus on some greater analysis of the game in tht
part of the world, this would easily scoring in the
8s, possibly higher, but this area needs urgent
attention to warrent such a ranking.
Excellent in part, frustratingly underdeveloped in
other areas.
Review of Meghan McCain
July 06, 2011
There is no doubt a great deal of honesty on display
here, possibly too much at times to be credible. Plenty
of zeal and fire means there is conviction behind what
is being said, but as a best selling childrens writer,
McCain may well have found her audience and should
stick to it, certainly the level of engagement with
core material, does not match the level of aspiration.
In addition, her video postings are laughable, and
further indicate that, although driven, McCain might do
better with someone else at the wheel.

What a very warm blog this was to read, shaped by
honesty and a real sense of positivity, this wandering
piece, which is at its best when the author opens up on
his own life experiences and goals, embodies the best
elements of blogging.
Images are used with due sensitvity and serve to
support the subject without overwhelming.
A very positive read.
Review of Michelle Malkin
July 06, 2011
The 'Fox News contributor' tag unfortunately almost
writes the review for itself. Malkin is one in a long
line of commentators who offer little more than the
capacity to latch on to a 'bad news story' and run a
mile with it. Looking for negatives wherever they might
be found, Malkin does little to distinguish herself
from her cohorts, and becomes just another shouting
voice from the right.
Review of Leanne Wood
July 06, 2011
Leanne Wood is a prominent member of the Welsh
Nationalist party Plaid Cymru. Her blog reflects on
issues particular to herself and Welsh politics. A
regular contributor, Wood is a good read for anyone
interested in the views of the next generation of Welsh
nationalist politicians.
Review of Christy Gibson

An interesting blend of poetry, writing and
observation. On a personal level, this is one of the
classic forms of blog I enjoy most. It knows what its'
focus is, but allows itself the freedom to explore
other areas, to not get bogged down by an 'I must write
for the sake of writing' mentality. It preserves a
certain honesty which many writers blogs fail to
achieve.
Enjoyable and enlightening.
