While I may not be a 'designer' by trade, what I can
attest to is the fact that Calvin creates things that
speak to his customers and their audiences. Becuase,
at the end of the day, a designer's work has to ring
true to his/her client's sensibilities. Calvin's work
not only does that, it oftentimes transcends his
client's expectations.

From a socail media standpoint, Calvin is among a
handful of folks that is truly about sharing
information and engaging in the right way with his
networks. He gets it and makes sure that his neworks
'get it' as well - a great guy!

Every time I read Amber's posts, her sense of humor and
real-world insight never ceases to astound me. She is
one of the smartest writers I've come upon when it
comes to social media. What's more, her insights are
concise and relevant enough to be used (and remembered)
for a good long time. AND her passion for her work and
the community is remarkable - Amber is a GEM.

Matt is a solid guy with some genuine skills on
multiple fronts - he's a rockin' media relations maven,
a solid writer and a PR person that is not afraid of a
challenge. From the time I first met with Matt, he has
shown me nothing short of a true professional with alot
of class. He brings the goods day in and day out -
Matt's clients love him, his referral rate is high and
his efforts in educating his community on the power of
PR is commendable.

David is a fella that I've had the pleasure of
discussing a variety things with - his candor, can-do
attitude and thoughtfulness about external
communications is incredible! Plus, his willingness
and ability to move from a PR-centered career to
advertising is harrowing; but is speaks volumes about
who the guy is: fearless, savvy and a solid
communicator.

at social media, David urges for a stronger focus on
making connections. He gets it on a variety of levels
- whether it's about engagement in social media to
shaaring about taking his first steps in 'the real
world' or even his choice on using Seesmic desktop, he
shares. More than that, he shares with some heart.
David is not just writing about various topics in his
blog - he's telling stories that are altogether
interesting, funny and useful.

From her writings on the dangers of communications
silos to keeping the social media frenzy in
perspective, Beth is someone that I look to for
bringing in some fresh insights with humor. She knows
her stuff inside and out and is, surprisingly humble
about it all. The kind of brash & intelligent wit that
Beth weaves is something I look forward to every time I
click into her Harte of Marketing. She's a keeper, I
tell ya' - the real cat's pajamas!

Arik is always moving forward with one thing or another
- be it with his social media ventures, his blog or his
methods and practices in public relations. The very
thought that someone can keep digging for new thoughts
in external communications can make some folks a little
uncomfortable; but Arik's sensibilities and fervor for
innovation keeps him ahead of the pack.
