Loving the visuals

Alex Ion knows how to use a photo. He draws readers
with interesting text but, perhaps more importantly,
stunning photos showcasing elaborate homes we might not
see every day. His choices are top-notch and his
ability to share his passion with his readers comes
alive. Personally, I wish he would incorporate a bit
more writing to accent the photos, but sometimes it's
also nice just to look and imagine.

Love the photography of homes!

I love these types of blogs that show the homes of
beautiful places. I spent quite a bit of time jumping
from one blog of his to the next as they are all
breathtaking and inspiring. He has a cool job of
showcasing these!
Ion could easily make a career out of his talent if
he chose to, which I'm sure he already does. I can see
this type of work in Metropolitan Homes or something
similar. Coffee table worthy material.

Alex Has A Cosmopolitan Outlook

Some of Alex Ion's recent posts at the group blog
Freshome are to do with some fancy homes on a few
different continents. That shows he has a cosmopolitan
outlook. He describes, and the analyzes, and he posts
plenty of pictures. He knows when to shut up and post
pictures to show people what they yearn to see. But
before that he builds the suspense in writing. The best
part though is how he distills the best of what he sees
and then suggest ways you can incorporate elements of
what you see into your own home settings. He might
start out with fancy locations, but he has the
everyperson in mind all along.
