Alex Tabarrok writes for Marginal Revolution. Alot of
people say that his fellow contributor Tyler Cowan, i
feel like they need each other. and as a team they make
up this blog. this quote is from there blog, “Truly
open borders would put an unbearable strain on the
cultural foundations of American liberal democracy;
many of the immigrants themselves would be the biggest
losers.”

Alex Tabarrok often unfairly gets compared to his
co-blogger at Marginal Revolution, the better known,
better appreciated Tyler Cowen. But I am going to argue
that for the most part he manages to hold his own.
Considering Cowen does most of the writing at the blog,
it is not like Tabarrok is not admitting himself that
he is the junior partner. So why even compare?

I find that Tabarrok's blogging partner, Tyler Cowan,
has far more interesting posts. Tabarrok may be
somewhat a victim of who he's compared to, as Cowan's
posts are so good that nearly anyone would look bad in
comparison. With that said, I just don't find him very
compelling. I read Marginal Revolution for Cowan, not
Tabarrok.
