A Rare Talent with a combination of Marketing and
Business Knowledge

May 28, 2010

Social media, SEO, PR, email marketing, integrating
them all, communications strategy, building rocket
ships...I mean I can go on with Beth's in-depth
knowledge of the entire domain of marketing. Many
marketers lacks the tactical experience and focuses
only on high-level strategy, not Beth. Read her
articles for a year ago, it would still apply today, a
real-world marketing leader.

Beth is a very real person on Social Media. I enjoy her

one of the first people I came in contact with on
Twitter. Great Writer and a very real person!

PR and Marketing with a Solid Business Perspective

April 14, 2010

The other reviewers here have praised Beth's marketing
and PR expertise, her clear and direct prose, her
insight. All of which are absolutely on point.

I would like to spotlight her business acumen. Most
marketing and PR bloggers are great at spotlighting
what the new trends are, but Beth takes them and
relates them back to real business strategies and
needs. She cuts right though the BS and relates
everything right back to the client's bottom line.

I just wish I her wisdom was delivered a little less
sporadically!

Amazingly Accurate Marketing Insights

December 30, 2009

Although I was already familiar with Beth from
Marketing Profs, I'd never seen her blog until now. I
was blown away by the degree of marketing insight
contained in her blog. Its as if one could randomly
take anyone of her posts and insert it into the
corresponding section of a related marketing textbook
and it would instantly belong.

I noticed that the blog has not been active for a
while and then read a post from Beth saying that she
would be taking a break for a little while. Although I
sincerely hope that the break is working out for Ms
Harte, because I know how necessary those can be, I'd
be lying if I didn't say that I'm eagerly awaiting
Beth's return to blogging.

No-Nonsense PR, Marketing and Social Media

August 18, 2009

Beth is one of the first people I met through social
media avenues, and she'll always be one of my
favorites. I respect her business acumen, writing
style, and practical approach to new communications.
Beth has years of practical experience in a traditional
corporate communications environment, which gives her a
unique ability to bridge the gap between old and new
tactics (and which ones in both worlds are actually
worth keeping).

I always look forward to her posts, and her insights
about how the landscape of communications is changing.
She's one of the ones to watch in this space, I
promise.

Beth is a smart Marketer

August 17, 2009

Often times in the social media environment, we find
self-proclaimed marketers who believe marketing evolves
around a blog or Twitter. It doesn't. So when we
discover someone like Beth, it is a breath of fresh
air. Not only is she accomplished in social media, she
is a talented marketer and writer. Read her! You won't
be disappointed.

A True Teacher

July 22, 2009

The Harte of Marketing is one of my daily reads (or as
often as Beth gets the opportunity to post -- she's a
busy woman!), because I constantly learn from Beth's
clear, concise tone and vast knowledge of the PR, IMC,
and social media realms. Beth is great at getting her
readers to speak up about current issues affecting the
communications industry and she isn't afraid to make
"maverick" statements about her field in the name of
growth and progression. You can tell she's in this
business because she loves it and truly wants to make a
difference by engaging in meaningful discussions with
her peers. There's always something new to learn at the
Harte of Marketing blog and I'll be a loyal fan for a
long time.

* One Smart Cookie *

June 23, 2009

From her writings on the dangers of communications
silos to keeping the social media frenzy in
perspective, Beth is someone that I look to for
bringing in some fresh insights with humor. She knows
her stuff inside and out and is, surprisingly humble
about it all. The kind of brash & intelligent wit that
Beth weaves is something I look forward to every time I
click into her Harte of Marketing. She's a keeper, I
tell ya' - the real cat's pajamas!
