David pushes the envelope of traditional PR thinking

July 16, 2009

The one thing that I like best about David's blog is
that he takes time to focus on young professionals just
starting out, that is to be commended!

David's blog has shifted from PR to integrated
marketing communications and I am along for the ride
because I am sure that, while IMC is nothing new, he
will definitely add something new to our prior exposure
to it...especially with social media breaking down so
many silos.

Smart, thought-provoking leader

David challenges you to think strategically and raises
the bar on traditional and non-traditional PR. A great
mind.

Puts the thought in thought-provoking

June 26, 2009

I think I came across David's blog through a
recommendation of someone whose tips I always take on
board. This is another great example.

David loves his industry. He loves the people in it
and what it can do. But he's no romantic - he knows
there's a lot of crap PR as well and he's not afraid to
discuss that and call it out on his blog.

Yet he's also got a huge heart for the small yet
uplifting stories - his post about the returning
soldier and his surprise reunion with his little girl
at her school was incredible.

This guy should be on everyone's radar that's even
remotely interested in PR, communications and simply
good old-fashioned reading.

Consistently great stuff

June 24, 2009

David is one of these under-the-radar guys who you know
will break out soon. Really soon.

He provides great, thoughtful content on a consistent
basis. What more could you ask for?

* Walking the Walk *

June 23, 2009

David is a fella that I've had the pleasure of
discussing a variety things with - his candor, can-do
attitude and thoughtfulness about external
communications is incredible! Plus, his willingness
and ability to move from a PR-centered career to
advertising is harrowing; but is speaks volumes about
who the guy is: fearless, savvy and a solid
communicator.

Consistently thought provoking

June 23, 2009

I was originally exposed to David's blog around the
same time I joined Twitter. If I could characterize the
posts in two words they would be thought provoking.
David does an excellent job of tackling the tough
issues in the PR profession. They aren't always on
social media, which I actually find refreshing (because
there are larger issues facing our industry).

A refreshing dose of reality around social media and
marketing

June 22, 2009

I've been conversing with David for several months now
through his blog and other social media platforms. He
is someone I constantly turn to to get a reality check
about how social media applies to an overall marketing
& PR strategy. Regardless of working around the clock
for his agency and clients, David ALWAYS responds with
a thoughtful and meaningful reply. David is the future
of marketing...and I'm happy to be connected with him
today!
