An obvious expert

January 24, 2011

Whether you want or love it or hate it ... or like me
no opinion at all, other than mildly curious ... the
Groupon article easily and succinctly spelt out the
pros and cons to enable readers to make an informed
decision.

Common Sense Marketing: The Good Ole Fashion Way

December 31, 2009

I have just finished reading a few of Drew's posts and
was pleasantly surprised to find solid time tested
marketing sense that, sorry to say, is often lost on us
in today's rapid fire instant communications universe.

This is a blog that technical digerati and the
traditionalists alike could both appreciate.

Drew's Marketing Minute is a MUST READ marketing blog.
How many times have I read one of his posts and hit my
head like I could'a had a V8! Drew is generous with
his time and help to fellow bloggers, a super marketer
and truly embodies the conversation age. MUST READ!

Drew is an accomplished marketer

August 17, 2009

I've known and read Drew for three years. He is in my
top 10 marketers list. Drew is talented, experienced,
savvy and a writer who knows how to share what he has
learned. A must read.

Old school marketing with new school sensibilities.

May 07, 2009

Drew is one of these guys that is few and far between -
he has a sensible old head on his shoulders, but also
knows how to play in the young kids' playground. I say
this with the utmost respect as well. From talking
about traditional marketing through to newer media
tools and strategies, Drew offers a balanced view of
both and doesn't sink into the "this one's better than
that one" approach others can be guilty of.

Worthwhile for those seeking advice

May 07, 2009

Drew McLellan has experience under his belt, and it
shows. He has so much marketing advice to share--tips
interesting and diverse enough that companies all along
the spectrum might profit from putting his ideas into
effect. While I don't have any current need for
marketing advice, this won't become one of my
must-reads, but it's nice to know it's out there.
Writing like this usually goes over well because people
perpetually seek advice!

Drew is on my RSS feed for one reason: solid marketing
advice that is given on a consistent basis. You can
learn a lot from this blog, I certainly have.

Old-fashioned in a good way

April 22, 2009

As the founder of a startup, I am always looking for
good marketing advice in promoting Scribnia. There are
a lot of blogs that describe how to employ social media
in order to gain customers and market a brand, but Drew
provides more general advice. A lot of self-proclaimed
social media marketing experts really have no formal
education on marketing, but Drew has marketing
experience from top firms and has also been doing this
for twenty years.
