Speaks with a colorful and artistic voice

March 08, 2013

When I walked through that door of vibrant and vivid
colors laced in reds and ribbons. It's was an
eye-catching experience, a feast for those that hunger
for creativity, and the freshness of new and exciting
ideas.

design*sponge, which is positively brimming with great
design, craft, food, and garden ideas. grace has
assembled an eclectic group of contributors who help to
make ds a true design collective. grace has a great

Simple idea but realistic designs, totally sponge-able!

November 11, 2009

This is my first time reading design-related blog, and
eventually, it is worth of reading though in the middle
of the late night, because when you wake up the next
morning, you have the design ideas ready in your head,
and the next task is to DIY that ideas into a dirty and
dusty job! Good work!

Savvy Design

June 23, 2009

Design*Sponge is one of my two favourite design blogs
to visit online. Grace’s stuff is sassy, savvy, sexy,
sensual and smart décor.

She talks sense, and she makes sense. I love the look
and feel of her blog especially – it makes me what to
pick up a paint brush or redecorate my entire house.

One of her most recent posts, a sneak peek called
“Delphine” is one of my absolute favourites. The
pieces are timeless, look classic and feel effortless.
The biggest appeals of the set are the colour
combinations and the dresser found in La Jolla.

But that’s simply how she runs: Grace highlights
things that work with spaces, not molding them. The
molding and other accessories come afterwards.

Design*Sponge is just an all out great tool –
whether you are in design, or simply just love to look
at it!

Great ideas for do-it-yourself interior design

May 14, 2009

My favorite part of this site is the 'Before and after'
section, which shows images of home improvement
projects (both small and large scale).

Little gorgeous things

May 08, 2009

Grace Bonney's blog Design*Sponge is one of those sites
you just want to drool over for ages. Gorgeous things,
creative suggestions, unique perspectives, and
scrumptious eye candy.

I love the Biz Ladies aspect of the site: helping
women-run art and design businesses network.

One thing does bug me, as an editor. I wish she'd use
capital letters at the beginning of sentences.
