Love the Sunday perfect pics and the humor of the
non-so-perfect flubs...communication is everything in
customer service!

Strange Cakes are Happening to Me Ain't No Doubt About
it.

December 28, 2012

This blog is mostly pictures of cake decorating
mishaps. They are really funny and Jen's commentary is
interesting as well. On Sundays there are posts of
really well decorated cakes, which are also really neat
to look at.

Valentine's day was indeed bringing me down, but then I
say your cake!! Hilarious!

I've added your picture to my twitter account and

Fantastic

July 21, 2011

Cakewrecks may be one of my favorite websites of all
time. Jen's hilarious blog is the reason I got into
blogging myself, and also the reason I'm desperate to
learn to bake!

A Masterpiece of Wit and Dessert

May 05, 2009

Cake Wrecks is a humorous blog devoted to the display
of professional cakes that don’t quite hit the mark.
Jen uses her knowledge of baking combined with her wit
to entertain readers with, as the blog says, “cakes
that go horribly, hilariously wrong.”

It’s laugh out loud funny with many of the pictures
and comments. The cakes range from birthday desserts to
elaborate renditions of the Star Trek Enterprise cake,
keeping readers interested. It’s fun for those who
know something about baking to those who don’t.

Mildly amusing

April 30, 2009

I guess if you're into cake humor, this site is perfect
for you. Personally, I'm not. It's kinda a cute
concept, but not something that'd I'd check out on a
regular basis.

The funniest cakes ever

April 30, 2009

OMG those cakes are so funny! The twilight cake was so
fugly that I was literally laughing out loud over here.
What a fun blog. I'm enjoying going through her many
posts of fun and quirky cakes. I think this is a
really unique idea for a blog and I'm glad she took
advantage of the idea.

The misspellings on cakes are hilarious. Do the
bakers even LOOK at what they're doing? I even went
through the comments of readers and they were just as
pleased as I was. The twilight one seems to have
gotten as much of a rouse from other readers as it did
out of me.

A Sweet Blog for Hot Messes

April 30, 2009

Jen’s humor blog, Cakewrecks.com, features the
heinous, the bizarre, the misspelled and the just plain
comical creations of professional bakeries. Not just
for foodies, this site has a broad appeal to readers of
all interests and ages. Jen features “wrecks”
daily; displaying and dissecting the color palate,
message and general aesthetic of each cake with her
characteristic combination of clowning and acerbic wit.
Her special Sunday posts, or “Sunday Sweets,”
include the non-wrecks, which are some of the most
breathtaking confections I’ve ever seen.
