As a relative "learner" in the world of
social media I really enjoyed the honesty and personal
analysis just as much as the subject content. Great
stuff

Like David, sociology and the way people interact and
trend together has always fascinated me. Technology is
advancing so rapidly and, as it does, the way we
connect with one another and create community is also
in flux. I like that Liz’s writings are going beyond
the superficial elements of these emerging trends. I am
fascinated and provoked by her analysis and it provides
a great jumping off point for further exploration. Her
metrics and data analysis are somewhat rudimentary, but
she admits that these skills are not where she is the
strongest. Big kudos to Liz for going out on a limb and
playing with new ideas. Ultimately, I like reading
Liz’s writing because it leads me to more questions
and presents a different perspective on trends on
social communities. Good stuff indeed.

I love sociological concepts and discussing
"people"...I think its so interesting to look at how
and why people do what they do. I also have a passion
for social communities on the web. That is why I love
reading Liz's writing.
There are many trends in the social web that are so
interesting from a sociological standpoint, and Liz is
able to share her insights in a clear, presentable
manner. Her posts tend to be long, but usually because
they are thorough. You can learn a ton from connecting
with Liz.
