Sad to see him leave TC

September 19, 2011

I've been following Michael on TC for awhile now. TC
has flourished with him at the helm and I've of course
enjoyed his writing (which is what this is all about).
It's a shame he's left TC. I hope TC can continue as it
always has without him. That sentiment is an indication
to the quality of Michael's output.

Great With TC

June 03, 2010

I love TechCrunch. Michael has a lot of great articles
that I like to respond to on my own blog because some
of the information is something my readers like and a
lot of times I have an opinion that will take more than
just a comment at TC. Although I respect him and his
opinion, at times he does tend to put a little more
bias in than needed.

I really enjoy his articles.

One of the people to know

June 09, 2009

Michael is a subject of a lot of controversy, but
overall his content backs up his reputation as an
A-list blogger. Techcrunch should be in every industry
professional's reader.

Very enviable job done well

June 08, 2009

On the surface, Michael Arrington has one of the most
enviable jobs in the world. He runs the largest tech
blog with millions of readers every day and is privy to
every new Internet or technology release. However, a
few incidents last year highlighted the negatives of
his job. Apparently, he has received numerous threats
before and there was an incident with a woman spitting
on him a conference.

I gained a lot of respect for the way that Michael
handled these events and I think the time he took away
from Techcrunch allowed him to come back with a renewed
zeal for his work. Some might call him arrogant (and
perhaps its true) but he has set the tone for
Techcrunch and made them one of the largest blogs in
the world.

More sizzle than steak

June 04, 2009

Michael markets himself well but is prone to getting
caught up in technology fads. Techcrunch is still the
definitive source for startup news.
