Funny, dreamy liberty

December 10, 2010

Smart, straightforward, sometimes offensive, leather
jacketed. Nick Gillespie is a hot piece of libertarian
rock and roll. When I read through my Hit and Run, I
always want more of him.

Honest Poltical Cynicism Designed to Teach

June 02, 2009

Does Nick have a bias? Yes I would say he is
unrelenting in his believe that freedom of markets and
individuals out weigh the constructs of bloated
government machine politics.

Is Nick controversial? Yes, if your stance on
politics is that there is only right or only left you
will find his political discourse controversial if not
scary.

I think if you read Nick's work, you might have an
epiphany of conscience that would change how your
process pre-packaged bought and sold corporate "news".

Defending Libertarian Ideals and Critic of All
Government

May 11, 2009

If you are looking for a political writer who
challenges mainstream ideas, values freedom for both
markets and individuals, and does so with good writing
and laugh-out-loud humor, Nick Gillespie is your man.
An ardent Libertarian, Gillespie’s is critical of
republicans and democrats, national and local
government, and anything that limits individual freedom
or expands the prevue of government. He writes well. A
PhD in literature, his writing skills and intelligence
are as undeniable as his often palpable arrogance. This
last point is something that I usually find amusing,
but does approach obnoxious from time to time. My
tolerance and tendency to minimize Gillespie’s
weaknesses is undoubtedly a byproduct of by general
agreement with his positions, but I think that’s the
case when reading most controversial writers.
