Koosed displays the kind of attitude that makes you
feel like you are with an aunt or just an online buddy.
She's very down to earth and posts randomly about
various topics.

Sometimes its about her own life while other times
she wants to educate her readers on art and history.
She uses her blog as a way to remember and honor the
past as well as the present.

A Visit to the Past

Patti Koosed is a creative wife and mother, and author
of Treasure Barn. The blog is a classic mix of old and
new, with a unique and antique feel. A majority of
Patti’s posts link readers to the past, with
everything from clothing to day to day living. There is
interesting information, opinions and comments.
Patti’s blog also features items from her Etsy shop,
which are artistic and antique inspired. She designs
collages and note cards that appeal to lovers of the
classics.

A Little Bit of Everything

Treasure Barn is a blog that pays tribute to all things
antique, from comparing life 105 years ago to life now
(wow) to talking about the origin of the corset. Patti
Koosed mixes it up, talking a little about her family,
her life (it’s a creative one), her pets and faith.
The music is soothing and is a mix of oldies, but
Sadeness Part 1 was playing too. Patti Koosed takes
pictures of old barns (she loves them) and features
them on the blog as well. There are also lots of links
to other blogs and websites (the ones listed are either
faith related or art/creativity related) as well as a
link to Koosed’s Etsy website.
