I love his controversial editorials. His picks are
usually right on for the All-Pro. SI's top football
writer.

I can't say I read PK every week, but I can say that I
rarely disagree with his POV. People seem to tell
Peter things that they wouldn't tell other
sportswriters, and he has a style of writing that makes
you feel like he's talking to you, not at you. He's
not a big stat-wagon, but you can tell he knows the
game and the people who play it.

Nothing revolutionary here, but Peter King is a
first-class sports reporter. He is, with good reason,
one of the most highly -regarded SI reporters.

when we first took note of MMQB my friends and I
referred to him as the Peter Gammons of football.. He
is the best at what he does and he adds a little dash
of humor to his writing from time to time which is
great. If any writer gets mentioned with Peter King or
Peter Gammons, in my mind you are in elite company.

Peter King has been writing for Sports Illustrated
since 1989 and in that time has proven himself to be
knowledgeable, lively, and informative in his Monday
Morning Quarterback columns. He always has a take that
rivals ESPN's best work, and is a must-read for any
serious football fan. His style is a serious,
thoughtful one and reminds me of a professor in
college. He uses his access far better than the local
writers and deserves his spot at one of the top sports
magazines.
