What a pleasure this was. Having had a long standing
interest in Japan and Japanese culture, the theme was
an automatic draw. The content here is eccentric in its
selection, but that is no hindrance at all. One entry
to the next provides a new snapshot view of Japanese
life. A little more detail in places would be welcome,
but generally I found reading this to be a very
positive experience.

from around Japan. its absolutely fantastic. there so
many talented artists of all kinds that are interviewed
by Stave Beimel. i love art and reading through this
blog and seeing the stories behind these amazing

If you are looking for famous landmarks all over Japan,
this is not the blog to visit. Steve Beimel lets the
reader discover a more artistic side of this country.
But it's not just arts & crafts because his talks
with the artisans as he travels reveal incredible life
stories. You'll love the photographs and all his so
well described delightful personal experiences in that
remote land.
