He's good...maybe too good.

July 28, 2011

Really interesting review by Adam. I actually never
looked at Darren's blogs that way but I see exactly
where Adam's coming from and can relate. I can sit
there and read problogger/twitip all day without ever
really being able to grasp all his advice. So much
more can be learned from just getting out there and
doing. You need to make your own mistakes and when
everything is spoon-fed to you it can result in bland,
generic content. I've definitely learned a lot from his
blogs, but I think his readers would appreciate some
more inspiring posts that encourage bloggers to go out
there and find a method that's comfortable for them.
Sometimes you just have to go the natural route.

No BS...Just experience

November 04, 2010

Really glad I cam across Dave's blog. It may not look
like it as I have a metabolism the speed of a cheetah
and can't break 150 lbs if I tried, but I used to be
all about weight lifting. In college I would go very
regularly with my buddies to the gym.

I wish I knew about this blog then.

Dave doesn't speak like a fitness professional or
someone pushing products...he talks like a person. He
shares his experience and knowledge and doesn't try to
impress you with gym jargon or ridiculous workout
routines. This blog is really great for the average
Joe, looking to put on some muscle and get in shape.

Amazing insight and storytelling.

September 21, 2010

Jonathan's blog provides an amazing inside look into a
world that you rarely see. He shares the stories of
children who have been through traumatic experiences
and what he's been doing to help them.

His insight into how to help these children, and
other children around the world is both caring and
interesting.

He's using his blog for good in a way that's readable
and compelling.

Critically refreshing.

July 26, 2010

I came across Justin's blog a couple months ago, and it
quickly became one of my go to blogs. In the social
media space, you'll find a lot of generic content and
constant "back-patting" going down. You
won't find these things anywhere close to Justin.

He speaks his mind clearly, and critically. He's not
afraid to tell it like it is. It's damn refreshing.

Fun, Light Reading

July 19, 2010

Johana's blog is refreshing because of how light and
fun it is. Occasionally, there will be a serious or
heavy post, but you won't find many.

It's the type of blog you can just sit down and go
through 10 posts filled with jokes, little stories and
other random stuff from her life.

An insider's look into the world of ballet

June 22, 2010

Henrik's blog is extremely unique. The world of a
Ballet dancer is not one that many are too familiar
with. Henrik covers it all, from specific ballet
jargin, tools, tricks of the trade, serious issues
facing dancers, and much more.

He really gives you a great deal of information about
the world of Ballet. The posts aren't too long and are
well written.

If you're looking for a unique new dance blog, look
no further.

Review of Kristina Beard

A brave and talented writer

June 03, 2010

Kristina is one of those writers that I can go through
reading about 30 posts straight and still not get
bored.

Her posts are never too long and get to the heart of
her message.

Most of them are about her experiences with her
family. She writes in such a way that it seems she is
able to maintain their privacy, while still giving
readers a deep and clear understanding of what she, and
her family deals with, on a daily basis.

She is clearly a brave and interesting person. Give
her blog a read.

Awesomely ridiculous. Ridiculously random.

May 20, 2010

If you want a blog that you can hop over to and
immediately have fun, this is it.

This blog is filled with completely random content,
in a hilarious way.

Allie's posts are accompanied by artwork similar to
how Oatmeal presents his posts, yet these drawings are
even more childish (in a good way).

Everything from 2 about pages to the "awesome
button" on the site just makes the blog that much
more fun to poke around.

Review of Jim Connolly

A true marketer.

April 29, 2010

Jim is the definition of a true marketer. I've read
his blog since I first began my career in marketing.

A lot has changed in the marketing and communications
space with the growth of social media. Jim is one of
the few great bloggers that I've seen that understand
the core concepts of traditional marketing and how it
plays into these new technologies.

When I read his stuff, I feel like he has a perfect
balance of traditional and new media. He understands
what worked in the past, and what will work moving
forward.

A truly great marketer and even greater person, Jim
Connolly is a must read for anyone looking to learn the
art of marketing.

A much needed fun read.

March 30, 2010

Go read Ct's blog. Seriously. You'll have fun.
You'll find some witty commentary with a dose of
sarcasm on relevant trends in media and the web.

She writes really well and has a great flow to her
posts that make them very easy to digest. Trust me, I
barely get through fortune cookies without losing
interested.

Unlike many other comedy bloggers you'll find, her
posts aren't riddled with profanity, but you should not
mistake it for a G-rated blog. It still gets dirtay.

Stop reading this review...go read her blog... and
laugh.
